Precision Plastic Products was established in 1982 and is located in Gibson City, IL.
Founder, William Tubbs has been the driving force behind the business since its inception more than 25 years ago. The business was sold in 2009 to Randy Wyant and his wife Donna Boundy DMD, MS. Mr. Tubbs and his wife Sarah continue to oversee the day to day operations and product designs.
The idea for the business originally began after William and Sarah purchased and rode their first motorcycle. Due to the amount of wind she was encountering on the back of the bike, Sarah did not enjoy riding. William custom built a windshield for their bike which was large enough to protect the driver and passenger from the wind. Friends and even strangers that would see the windshield on his motorcycle inquired as to where they could get one. Since then, thousands of windshields have been produced by Precision Plastic Products, Inc.
While replacement motorcycle windshields were the first product the company mass produced, today this product line has expanded. to include ATV windshields, race car spoilers, custom drawer inserts, shields and guards and a wide variety of polycarbonate and Lexan based products across a variety of industries.
